Alsaa is a leading sports and leisure centre located near Dublin Airport, providing a large variety of outdoor and indoor sports facilities, including Swimming Pool, Sports Hall, Gym & Bowling Centre.
Alsaa is looking for a skilled accounts administrator to operate the accounts system, including recording of revenues and debtor transactions, purchasing, payments, creditors, bank records and payroll.

Job Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
* Receive and validate purchase invoice documentation and update to Sage accounting software.
* Arrange payments of suppliers in accordance with payment schedules.
* Receive and validate revenue records, including invoiceable transactions.
* Generate sales invoices from the Sage accounting software.
* Process receipts to the debtors' ledger.
* Monitor debtor balances and ageing and pursue outstanding debts, in conjunction with Department managers.
* Post all other revenue and payment records and journals to the Sage accounting software.
* Reconcile bank ledgers to bank statements using the Sage reconciliation software.
* Maintain employee records using HR Loacker in conjunction with external payroll service provider.
* Generate HR Locker Time records for provision to external payroll service provider, in time for fortnightly payroll processing.
* Review payroll Gross to Net reports generated by the external payroll service provider, before submission to ROS Real Time Reporting.
* Ensure that PAYE is paid on time.
* Maintain VAT system set up and records.
* Prepare 2 monthly VAT returns.
* Ensure all accounting records are correctly stored and maintained in accordance with statutory obligations.
* Ensure that accounting records for each month are completed and closed off in accordance with monthly accounting timetable.
Skills required
* Strong understanding of accounting procedures and best practices.
* Strong time-management and work organisation skills.
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to complete reconciliations and to identify and resolve discrepancies.
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant tax filing procedures.
* Good Excel and Word skills.
* Good knowledge of accounting software, such as Sage.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications
* Significant experience in a similar accounting role.
* Proficiency with accounting software, such as Sage.
* Good knowledge of Excel and Word.
* Experience in data entry.
· Accounting Technician or similar qualifications an advantage.
