Staff Grade Occupational Therapist
Location: Dublin City
Contract Type: Temporary- 20 weeks
Salary: HSE Payscale- dependent on experience
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in an inpatient mental health setting in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals in various stages of psychiatric recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy services to service users with mental health needs.
Facilitate occupation-based and psycho-educational groups to support recovery and skill development.
Deliver individual and group interventions, including virtual sessions where appropriate.
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
Maintain high standards of professional practice, including clinical documentation and adherence to ethical guidelines.
CORU registration or registration pending (must provide proof)
Hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT).
Experience working with service users with psychiatric illness across a range of recovery stages.
Proven ability to facilitate occupation-based and psycho-educational groups.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries in all service user interactions.
Requirements:
Experience in an inpatient mental health setting.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Teams and Outlook.
Experience facilitating virtual interventions for both groups and individuals.
Demonstrate adherence to professional standards, including the maintenance of strict clinical boundaries in all service user interactions
