Our client, a large, multinational group are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join its shared services function in Dublin.
Reporting to the Head of Accounting, Tax & Compliance, this role focuses on statutory financial reporting across multiple entities, with ownership of tax compliance processes.
With offices in Dublin 24, they are operating with a hybrid working model (3 days onsite) and would be offering a competitive salary and comprehensive package.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and review of statutory financial statements under IFRS/FRS 102, ensuring compliance with regulatory and group reporting requirements.
Manage end-to-end tax compliance (corporation tax and indirect taxes) across ROI and UK/NI entities, coordinating with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely filings.
Prepare tax computations, reconciliations, and disclosures for inclusion in financial statements and group reporting.
Support and coordinate the annual audit process, acting as a key contact for auditors, particularly on tax and statutory reporting matters.
Maintain and enhance financial controls and governance processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across reporting cycles.
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives, including tax and reporting digitisation projects.
Partner with internal stakeholders across finance and the wider business to support reporting and compliance requirements.
Requirements: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 3-5+ years' PQE in a financial reporting or audit-focused role.
Strong experience in statutory reporting, with working knowledge of tax compliance (not advisory).
Familiarity with IFRS/FRS 102, Companies Act requirements, and multi-entity environments.
Exposure to Irish and UK tax compliance frameworks is beneficial.
Strong systems and Excel skills; ERP experience (e.g.
Oracle) is advantageous.
