Business Analyst (Senior) Location : Dublin - Hybrid working Model Duration : 6+ months contract Highly extendable Key Responsibilities The Business Analysts will: Liaise with staff and Unit Heads to identify new business and functional requirements. Clarify/identify business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops and other appropriate techniques Document new functional requirements and the particular business needs underlying those requirements Provide input to the Project Manager and Technical Manager to facilitate the drafting and finalisation of requirements and specifications associated with the supply and implementation of the required Digital platform Throughout the life of the project, review and validate proposed solutions to ensure they meet requirements. Identify and evaluate inefficiencies and recommend optimal business practices and system functionality and behaviour to support the activities. Assist in the development and implementation of a testing strategy. Create user cases detailing the business requirements & the impacted application Complete handover of agreed project deliverable items (to include Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, and User Acceptance Plans etc.) to a Project Manager Other relevant responsibilities associated with this project, as identified by the project team. Work with staff to understand current as is processes insofar as they relate to the digital platform Document as is process flows and associated business rules Analyse system template forms (portal and back office) to identify and map all data fields Has acted as the senior responsible person on major client engagements. Experience in leading complex projects/programmes. Problem-solving and analytical thinking to get to the root of an issue. A capacity to accurately assess and understand the impact of change. Conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a penchant for asking important and relevant questions. Good Interpersonal skills and an ability to build and maintain a relationship with stakeholders Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
