The ISP Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting installation and startup activities for new equipment, utilities, and systems. This role ensures compliance with Good Engineering Practices (GEP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory standards during the commissioning phase prior to qualification. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Installation & Startup Execution o Oversee installation of equipment and systems per design specifications and vendor documentation. o Coordinate Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and pre-commissioning checks. o Ensure utilities and services are connected and operational for startup. o Participate in mechanical completion walkdowns o Review Construction Handover Packs and Vendor Handover Packs Documentation & Compliance o Prepare and execute ISP protocols, checklists, and reports. o Maintain accurate records aligned with quality systems and regulatory requirements. Technical Support o Troubleshoot installation/startup issues and implement corrective actions. o Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges. CQV Integration o Support transition from commissioning to qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ). o Ensure alignment with Validation Master Plan (VMP) and project timelines. Safety & Quality o Adhere to EHS standards during installation and energization activities. o Ensure compliance with GMP and ISPE guidelines. Qualifications Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or related discipline. 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech engineering projects. Strong knowledge of CQV lifecycle, GEP, and GMP. Familiarity with ISPE Baseline Guides Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience Previous involvement in commissioning and qualification projects. Experience with API, cleanroom environments, critical utilities (HVAC, Process Vessels, PUW, Scrubbers, Chiller Systems). Proficiency in MS Project or similar scheduling tools.
