We value integrity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence, and are seeking an Investment Operations Officer to help strengthen our investment operations and support our continued growth.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring accurate investment operations, risk analysis, and client reporting. The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working across performance calculations, risk metrics, investor communications, and regulatory requirements. Experience in investment operations within the financial industry is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Performance & Risk Analysis: Calculate and monitor investment performance, risk metrics.
* Fee & Accounting Management: Accurately calculate and reconcile management and performance fees; assist in financial reconciliations and oversight of accounting records.
* Investor Reporting: Prepare and distribute monthly newsletters and performance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
* Regulatory Support: Ensure ongoing compliance with AIFMD, MiFID, and/or NFA regulations by implementing required operational processes.
* Operational Oversight: Coordinate with internal teams and outsourced providers to ensure smooth trade processing, reconciliations, and settlements.
* Third-Party Management: Liaise with administrators, custodians, and other service providers to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to streamline operations and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in investment operations or fund administration within the financial industry (required).
* Technical Skills:
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial formulas, reporting).
* Experience calculating risk metrics (e.g., drawdown, volatility) and fees (management/performance).
* Knowledge of performance attribution and reconciliation processes is a plus.
* Core Skills:
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report/newsletter preparation.
* Proactive, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
