This is a full-time, permanent position within a dynamic multidisciplinary team.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be involved in all aspects of fertility care, including:Theatre attendance for procedures such as:Egg collectionSurgical sperm retrievalCyst aspirationIntrauterine inseminationERA testingAbdominal scanning for embryo transfersPatient care and clinical duties, including:Nurse consultationsTransvaginal ultrasound scanningPhlebotomyCommunicating with patients throughout treatment cyclesFull additional training, including upskilling or skills refreshing needed will be provided.Essential RequirementsRegistered Nurse or Midwife with NMBI (RGN or RM)Minimum 2 years' experience in fertility nursingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive, enthusiastic, and adaptableCompassionate and committed to patient-centred careUnderstanding of quality management systems in a clinical settingExcellent organisational and time management skillsDesirablePostgraduate qualifications in midwifery/ nursing, or fertilityExperience in pelvic ultrasound scanningCounselling skills or experience with patientsThe successful candidate will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working to provide excellent patient centred care for couples in all aspects of fertility treatment.40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Core working hours are 8:00am – 4:00pm, with some flexibility required as start and finish times can vary.
