Our client, a fast-paced and innovative technology company, is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to play a key role in their technical support operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on IT professional, ideally with MSP experience, looking to work across a broad technical stack in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in networking, SQL Server, firewalls (Fortinet), virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), and VoIP systems. Exposure to security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.) would be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide high-level L1/L2 technical support across networking, servers, and applications (onsite & remote)
2. Administer Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and network infrastructure
3. Support and maintain SQL Server environments and VoIP/intercom systems
4. Manage and troubleshoot virtualized environments (Hyper-V / VMware)
5. Monitor system alerts and proactively resolve issues
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliable service delivery
7. Maintain accurate documentation, timesheets, and job cards
8. Contribute to technical improvements and system enhancements
Key Requirements
9. 5+ years in IT support, preferably within an MSP environment
10. Strong networking and SQL Server skills
11. Experience with Fortinet, Hyper-V/VMware, and VoIP systems
12. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
13. Full, clean EU driver's license
14. Self-motivated with a proactive, customer-focused approach
Highly Desirable
15. Experience with security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.)
16. Exposure to Microsoft or Linux-based environments
