About your new job as an Electrical Design Engineer: You will collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop detailed electrical designs for Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants across both municipal and industrial environments. This position offers the option of a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
* Carry out investigations and produce reports on the electrical condition of multiple sites
* Review and assess client specifications
* Prepare detailed electrical technical designs and project submissions
* Collaborate with clients to define and agree on scope of works
* Develop designs, proposals, and cost estimates
* Design electrical distribution systems, including single line diagrams and load schedules
* Produce instrumentation designs, covering selection, termination details, and cabling requirements
* Prepare cable calculations and schedules
* Coordinate with internal teams such as design, contracts, control, and automation
* Act as a point of contact and liaise with clients as required
* Update and interpret panel schematics and wiring diagrams
* Prepare control philosophies for projects
* Ensure all work complies with IS, EN, BS, and IEC standards
What skill/experience you need
* Knowledge of Water and Wastewater treatment industry preferable
* Be able to read and redline Electrical drawings and Schematics.
* Excellent understanding of current Electrical Regulations and Standards.
* Be able to read drawings including P&ID's and layout drawings.
* Strong engineering, analytical and problem solving skills.
* Strong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Working knowledge of CAD an advantage but not essential
