We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV driver to play a key role ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
Drive safely and compliantly at all times.
Be legally compliant to the working time directive and EU Driving hours legislation.
Maintain regular contact with the transport team.
Comply with local legislation requirements and company policies and procedures at all times.
To represent DHL in a professional manner to customers and provide excellent customer service at all times.
Regular completion of vehicle checks.
Manual Handling of Customer Products.
Timely and efficient completion of deliveries and transportation.
To undergo regular training and driving assessments.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
Valid HGV License C+E (Class 1)
Driver CPC certification
Ability to move product in line with H&S regulation
Previous experience of driving an artic truck
Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
Ability to read, understand and follow directions / instructions
Knowledge of EU driving regulations and geographical area
