My client is an established and growing Consultancy firm based in North Dublin City and they are seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to come in and establish themselves as a Practice Manager / Accounts Supervisor within a supportive and professional environment. You will enjoy autonomy in the role, where you will oversee Accounts Production, Payroll and general Bookkeeping services while managing a small team of 2 Part-Qualified Accountants. Key Responsibilities Managing and mentoring a team of 2 direct reports, including work allocation, performance reviews and ongoing development. Full responsibility for onboarding new clients, including initial consultations, engagement letters and system set-up. Ensuring all compliance and statutory deadlines are met across a varied client portfolio (VAT, PAYE/PRSI, Corporation Tax, CRO filings, etc.). Overseeing the preparation and review of: Management Accounts Financial Statements Payroll processing Bookkeeping and VAT returns Acting as the main point of contact for clients and proactively building and maintaining strong client relationships. Identifying opportunities to grow and cross-sell services within the existing client base. Implementing and improving internal processes and controls to increase efficiency and service quality. Liaising with external bodies including Revenue, CRO, auditors and financial institutions where required. Supporting partners/directors with ad-hoc projects and business development initiatives. Ability to utilise technology and embed it into clients relationships. Develop presentations for clients and attend board meetings. Requirements Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent). Previous experience in an Irish accountancy practice or consultancy environment is essential. Demonstrated experience supervising or managing junior staff. Strong technical knowledge of Irish compliance and reporting requirements. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach. Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., Xero). Exposure to process improvement or practice management systems. Business development or client portfolio growth experience.
