We are currently seeking a highly motivated Administration Support (Grade III) to join our team in Cork.
Contract Type: Specified Purpose (Temporary)
Contract Hours: Up to 35 hours per week
Salary Scale: Grade III Clerical: €26,606 - €42,805 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments).
Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days per annum, proportionately less for less than 12 months of service.
Overview of the Post: The post-holder will assist in coordinating the Community Paediatric Clinics and other clinics within the regional CHO4 Physical Disability Support Service to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role includes providing a wide range of administrative supports to the clinics, with additional responsibilities as assigned by the PDSS Co-Ordinator, Children’s Services Manager, or their delegate.

The successful candidate will have:
Essential Criteria:
* Leaving certificate or equivalent education
* At least 1 year of relevant secretarial, administrative, or medical secretariat experience
* Experience with software used for processing dictated documents
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Experience working with healthcare database software
* Experience in a similar healthcare/disability sector role
Desirable Criteria:
* Full clean driver’s license
* Experience working at reception
* A relevant secretarial or medical secretariat qualification
