BMS Engineer – Pharmaceutical Projects (Dublin)Dublin, IrelandOverviewAn established building automation and controls specialist is seeking an experiencedBuilding Management Systems (BMS) Engineerto support majorpharmaceutical projectsin the Dublin region.The role involves delivering BMS solutions within highly regulated GMP environments.Strong experience with Trend BMS systems is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and commission BMS solutions for pharmaceutical and life sciences facilitiesProgram and deliver Trend BMS systems including controllers, networks, graphics, alarms, and trendsIntegrate BMS with HVAC plant and systems such as AHUs, chillers, boilers, cleanrooms, and utilitiesWork within GMP-regulated environments, ensuring compliance with project and quality requirementsDevelop and review control philosophies, functional design specifications (FDS), and I/O schedulesSupport FAT, SAT, and site commissioning activitiesLiaise with project managers, clients, consultants, and third-party vendorsProvide fault-finding, optimisation, and post-handover supportComplete project documentation in line with quality and validation requirementsRequirementsDegree, trade qualification, or equivalent experience in Building Services, Electrical, Automation, or a related disciplineProven experience as a BMS Engineer on pharmaceutical or life sciences projectsHands-on experience with Trend BMS platforms (mandatory)Strong understanding of HVAC systems and building services controlsExperience working in GMP or other regulated environmentsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specificationsAbility to work independently and as part of a project delivery teamFull right to work in IrelandDesirable ExperienceExperience delivering BMS solutions for large-scale pharmaceutical campusesIntegration experience with PLCs, SCADA, or energy management systemsFamiliarity with validation support activities (IQ/OQ)
