Job Overview:
An accomplished Energy Planning Professional is required to spearhead the planning and development of large-scale renewable energy projects.
* Project Management: Oversee the planning process to obtain approvals for large-scale renewable energy projects.
* Consultant Coordination: Manage external consultants to prepare specialist studies for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), EIA screening, Ecological Impact Assessment, and other assessments required as part of the planning application process.
* Application Preparation: Prepare planning application documents and associated submissions.
Essential Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a degree in Planning, Environmental Science, or an equivalent field. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, planning applications, EIAR, AA, and environmental permit applications for large-scale projects, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
