Sales Manager IT Services (Ireland) Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing IT services provider, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a team of 68 Account Directors and Sales Specialists. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding key accounts, and executing a high-performing go-to-market strategy across Ireland. The successful candidate will directly manage a small portfolio of key accounts while developing a motivated, results-driven sales team. This role carries clear KPIs and targets including sales orders, billed revenue, gross margin, annual recurring revenue, and new customer acquisition. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Performance Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing IT services sales team; recruit as needed. Define team roles, set performance metrics, and conduct regular reviews. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Sales Strategy & Execution Contribute to and execute the Irish sales and go-to-market strategy, covering both major accounts and new logo acquisition. Work closely with Delivery, Finance, HR, Marketing, Pre-Sales, and other internal stakeholders to support company-wide objectives. Drive effective account planning and ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management. Ensure pricing strategies are competitive and commercially sound. Account Management Directly manage a small number of strategic customer accounts. Act as a point of escalation for customer issues and advocate customer needs internally. Ensure appropriate use of CRM systems and maintain up-to-date account plans. Commercial & Operational Excellence Achieve gross margin and revenue targets across defined business units. Oversee qualification and support of complex bids, including RFP/RFT responses. Complete loss reviews for key deals and develop improvement strategies. Provide KPI and performance reports to the Commercial Director. Collaborate with the Strategy Team to shape new service offerings and market approaches. Required Experience & Competencies: Minimum 5 years experience in sales management within IT services or technology. Minimum 10 years experience in ICT sales with a proven track record winning large, complex contracts. Strong consultative selling background with experience engaging senior stakeholders. Excellent communication skillswritten, verbal, and presentation. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple enterprise-level customer engagements. Strong financial and commercial acumen. High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and sound judgement. Ability to operate effectively in a complex organisational environment with confidentiality and professionalism.
