JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Reports to: Customer Service Supervisor

Qualifications / Experience
Educated to Leaving Certificate or similar preferred.
Previous experience preferred although full training will be provided.
Friendly, flexible and be willing to work as part of a team.
Good organisation and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and show initiative.

Key Responsibilities
The principal duties and responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative
are to ensure that our customers receive a positive experience in their
communication with the Customer Service Department and that all orders and
enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.

Duties
8. Processing Sales Orders
Taking customer orders via telephone, fax, post and e-mail.
Processing customer orders and invoices in a timely fashion
Liaise with the purchasing and service departments to provide accurate and continuing communication to customers with regard to outstanding back orders.
Ensuring all incoming shipments which contain backorder items are
processed upon receipt of the copy GRN (good receipt note).
Should a product which is on backorder not be received within its due
date, it is imperative that the customer is informed of the new expected delivery date.
Liaise with the stores department to ensure sales orders are dispatched when due and customer special requests are met. (Eg. Certs of analysis, product literature etc.)
Standing Orders / Call Off Orders
Control and maintenance of weekly, bi-monthly customer standing and call off orders.
Processing customer complaints as per ISO QF Quality
Standard.
Taking customer enquiries regarding price, product and technical
queries and ensuring that these queries are followed up via the
relevant departments.
Maintaining Customer Special Prices on the ERP system.
Proactively monitor Inventory reorder levels and to bring any
suggestions on adjustments to reorder levels to the attention of the
purchasing department and the relevant product manager.
Telephone manner must be of a professional nature, friendly and
courteous at all times.
