Supermarket Operations Manager Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a retail professional to take on a leadership role in managing the daily operations of a busy supermarket.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing store operations and delivering on key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Lead, train, and motivate the management team and staff to deliver exceptional standards across all departments
* Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health, safety, and food regulations
* Work closely with department managers to achieve sales, margin, and waste targets
* Manage budgets and control costs
* Ensure high standards of merchandising, stock control, and store presentation
* Drive customer service excellence and resolve customer queries efficiently
* Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture that supports teamwork and staff development
* Liaise with senior management on business performance, initiatives, and future planning
Requirements:
* Minimum 3-5 years' management experience in a retail or supermarket environment
* Proven ability to manage store operations and deliver on KPIs
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams
* Commercially focused with strong analytical and financial management skills
* Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication abilities
* Flexible to work a full-time roster including weekends and evenings as required
