Project Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
* Job Description:
* Manage day-to-day commercial and contract activities, including contract administration, change management, and negotiation of subcontract orders.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake contract administration, including change management and maintenance of associated registers.
* Negotiate and obtain best value with placement of subcontract orders.
* Participate in the management of project budgets, cost plans, and feasibility studies.
* Validate and approve sub-contractors' interim applications and final submissions.
* Lead pre-appointment subcontractor meeting to ensure scope is clearly defined.
* Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying & Construction Economics or equivalent degree recognized by SCSI and/or RICS.
* 3-5 years of quantity surveying experience.
* Demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of various forms of contract used in the construction industry (RIAI, FIDIC, JCT etc.).
* Ability to critically evaluate and identify gaps in documentation and commercial opportunity.
* Strong numeracy and report writing skills.
* Strong negotiation & conflict management skills.
