Business Development Executive - Permanent
Collins McNicholas are partnering with a medical device engineering company to recruit a Business Development Executive. This is an onsite role based in Sligo, Ireland with some flexibility and travel required.
Responsibilities:
* Win new business for manufacturing plants in Ireland and North America.
* Research and identify target customers.
* Prospect, generate leads, and create nurture campaigns.
* Qualify inbound enquiries and develop into sales opportunities.
* Run end-to-end sales processes from initial contact to close of deal.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders on deliverability, capacity, and costings.
* Attend meetings and build relationships with prospects.
* Maintain data hygiene in our Sales CRM, Hubspot.
* Stay up-to-date with company products and industry trends.
* Prepare quotations and tailored follow-ups.
* Review Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
* Deliver presentations and provide facility tours.
* Meet sales targets and achieve KPIs.
* Travel to the US or Europe approximately 2 days per month.
* Perform other duties assigned by your Manager.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or similar field preferred.
* Minimum 5 years sales experience, preferably in a manufacturing/production company.
* This is a hunting role for new business, not account management, so requires outbound sales experience.
