We are seeking an IT Operations Support Analyst for a 12‑month contract role, responsible for delivering high‑quality IT support to SuperValu and Centra retailers across Ireland and Spain.
Responsibilities
Provide expert, timely IT system and business process support to SuperValu and Centra retailers.
Remotely support retailer‑facing hardware including ePOS systems, PCs, printers, network equipment and retail applications.
Work with internal functions and third‑party IT providers to manage incidents to retail satisfaction.
Cover both internal and external Musgrave customers seven days a week.
Perform initial triage of inbound incidents and gather key details.
Maintain daily IT ticket management and essential IT operations.
Optimize operational processes for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
Identify ways to improve customer experiences and IT system performance.
Document incidents, compile reports, and track progress.
Collaborate with teams to deliver services to production, including upgrades and decommissioning.
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
Update and share knowledge articles on fixes.
Qualifications
Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with continual demands and changing priorities.
3rd‑level IT or relevant experience.
At least 2 years in an IT support role focused on customer and staff support across infrastructure and applications.
In‑depth knowledge of IT operational support processes.
Strong communication skills.
Strong customer focus and an innovative approach to best practices and process improvements.
