Overview
Centric Health is seeking a GP Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy GP practice in Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland. The role focuses on people management, patient experience, financial performance and operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
Maintain a culture of patient and customer care and continuously improve the quality of the patient experience.
Oversee the booking process, ensuring the highest level of communication and professionalism.
Collaborate with the Regional Manager to develop and enhance the patient journey.
Handle patient complaints and feedback, escalating where necessary.
Directly manage, develop and motivate staff, building an effective and engaged team.
Provide leadership through regular meetings, objective setting and effective communication.
Recruit, induct and schedule staff, clinicians and locums.
Manage administrative roster, doctor and nurse sessions to ensure adequate cover.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, health and safety and statutory regulations.
Provide general office management and reception cover if required.
Coordinate supplies, manage IT systems and implement policies and workflows.
Manage day‑to‑day financial functions: sales reconciliation, bank lodgements, petty cash and supplier approvals.
Participate in cash‑flow forecasting, income maximisation and expenditure planning.
Oversee GMS payments (new, transfer, nursing homes) ensuring all payments are processed.
Provide ad‑hoc reports or practice information to finance team or regional manager when required.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous management experience in a medical, dental or other relevant practice.
Senior administrator background.
Strong people‑management and team‑leadership skills.
Business‑development acumen and experience managing people and budgets.
Flexible attitude towards changing work practices.
Excellent written and spoken English.

Contract: Permanent – Full time (35‑40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
