Compliance Assistant
Brokers Ireland is the largest representative body for Insurance & Financial Brokers in Ireland. We are currently looking to recruit: Compliance Assistant to work within our Compliance Unit based in Dublin 2.
· Third Level Qualification. Relevant industry/compliance exams preferable.

· Broad knowledge of the Statutory and Regulatory influences on BI and its members
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills over the phone.
· Driven, assertive individual with excellent organisation and time management skills.
Key Functions of the role:
· Answering queries from members on compliance
· Reviewing members' compliance documents and advertising material
· Corresponding with Financial Regulator and other bodies regarding members' queries
· Drafting and maintaining compliance documentation for members
· Organising sub-committee Meetings
· When required, attending Compliance sub-committee meetings and taking minutes
· Researching websites etc for issues that may affect Brokers including in other countries
· Research of legislative issues e.g. new consultation papers etc.
· Research for submissions.
· Drafting of submissions
· Carrying out compliance training as requested
* Liaise with Providers/Provider Platforms on staff pensions

Term: This is a 6-month contract with a view to be made permanent, with option to work from home once agreed with management.
