Our client, a leading law firm based in the city centre, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join their team on a 1315 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

As part of the finance management team, you will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, audit management, and team leadership, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial information in line with legislation and internal policies.
Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and manage the month-end timetable.
Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate year-end accounts and statutory audits.
Partner with senior leadership and departmental heads to review performance and provide meaningful financial insights to support decision-making.
Manage and mentor a team of four finance professionals, offering coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
Requirements 5 years experience in a senior management role.
ACA or ACCA qualified, Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Proven experience resolving complex financial issues with attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced) and experience with financial reporting systems.
Hybrid Model Skills: 5 years experience ACA OR ACCA qualified Proficiency in Excel
