Location: Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa, Maynooth Road
Join our fabulous team at Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa as a Assistant Front Office Manager. The Assistant Front Office Manager position is an exciting role that aims to ensure all our guests have a wonderful experience. We are looking for a strong, experienced, motivated person with a proven track record of successful Front of House management.
About The Hotel
Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa is a luxury estate, nestled in 21 acres of lush green Meath countryside. The Georgian mansion which welcomes visitors today was originally built in 1764, on the same site as the original castle. Dunboyne Castle was acquired by Mr. Thomas Röggla in December 2022. The hotel joined his collection of luxury Irish hotels forming the TMR Hotel Collection, including Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, Harvey’s Point, Mount Wolseley & Aghadoe Heights.

Role & Responsibilities

Ensuring a smooth, prompt and effective service to all guests
Ensures maximum compliance with the Company’s guest service standards and procedures
Support the operations of the Front Desk
Manage shifts at the Front Desk and support all Front Office training
Support the Front Office Manager in all performance management related activities

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisor role on a busy hotel front desk
The ideal candidate must be available to work a mixture of morning and evening shifts and public holidays, 5 days across 7
You must have hotel front desk experience and be proficient using Opera or a similar property management system

Skills Needed
Hospitality
Required Criteria

Must have two years supervisor experience on a busy hotel desk
Experience using a property management system such as Opera
Strong computer skills
Strong verbal and written English
Must be able to work a mixture of morning, afternoon and evening shifts including on public holidays and weekends
