Office Administrator required (Fixed term maternity cover nine to twelve months) in Buncrana, Co. Donegal.We are seeking a reliable and organised Office Administrator to provide maternity cover for a period of 9 to 12 months. This role will support this busy construction business in Buncrana, Co. Donegal. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative, financial, and operational duties to ensure the smooth running of their office and support to their field based teams.
Responsibilities
* Supporting Field-Based Staff
* Ordering and coordinating materials as required
* Arranging travel, flights, and transport for staff
* Booking accommodation when required
* Payroll & Subcontractor Administration
* Coordinating with team foremen to record completed work
* Accurately recording information in the company system
* Processing payroll through the payroll system
* Making payments to personnel and subcontractors
* General office & finance support
* Processing payments to suppliers
* Liaising with customers as required
* Undertaking basic bookkeeping duties
* Handling other general administrative tasks as needed
Skills and Qualifications
* Previous office administrative experience preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Able to work on own initiative
* A flexible, adaptable, and problem-solving approach to work
* Experience in account and payroll would be advantageous although training will be provided on payroll system
* Knowledge of a commercial environment, particularly construction, would be helpful although not essential
