This role is ideal for someone passionate about retail and thriving on developing and leading others. The successful candidate will be involved in designing and implementing strategies that best suit the business model.
Responsibilities of this Retail Trainer:
1. Partner with stakeholders across the business to establish training and development needs effectively.
2. Facilitate, coordinate, evaluate, and report on selected learning and development programmes.
3. Propose and implement methods to measure the impact of learning interventions on colleagues and the business.
4. Promote a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and colleagues.
6. Understand business priorities and use feedback to ensure the effectiveness and impact of L&D programmes.
Who you are as a Retail Trainer:
1. Excellent communication skills are essential; you should be adept at working with various stakeholders, managing learning projects, and effectively communicating progress.
2. You have strong experience in designing engaging learning solutions across multiple business areas and are knowledgeable about emerging trends in learning and development.
3. The role involves travel to all sites nationwide to deliver training and engage with colleagues.
4. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in learning and development within a multi-site retail environment, including designing learning programmes.
5. A relevant third-level qualification in HR or a business-related field, or a professional training qualification, is desirable.
