Due to continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer or Building Services Engineer to join our team in Dublin / Galway and or hybrid within IrelandResponsibilities· Carrying out projects from early design stage through to handover.· Carrying out detailed design calculations· Drafting tender and construction drawings using AutoCAD & REVIT· Drafting tender and construction specifications· Leading projects from inception to completion· Developing, managing budgets and attending design team meetings· You will be responsible for the design of HVAC, plumbing services, distribution services, lighting services, protective and security services etc.· Ensuring that the designs are created in line with Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, Irish/British Standards and Health & Safety Regulations & Mentoring of junior and intermediate-level Engineers and Technicians.Requirements· Strong technical ability in all aspects of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Services & Design· Have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Building Services Engineering.· Be Chartered and preferably be a member of the Institution of Structural Engineers or the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers· Minimum 5+ years relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environment· Experience of client, vendor & contractor interaction & management· Proactive, a good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional project team.· Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.· Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT will be an advantage· Be fluent in spoken and written English.· Driving License is essential
