OverviewIf you are looking for an exciting Supplier Quality Engineer contract, working for a leading medical device client in a varied working environment, this is the job for you.This is an onsite role and it is a contract position; only individuals with a Stamp 4 visa or EU citizens will be considered.ResponsibilitiesStrong validation experience working on part acceptance and process qualification.Manage and monitor supplier quality performance for electronic components, PCBAs, and mechanical parts.Develop supplier quality performance for electronic components.Conduct supplier audits (process, system, and product) to ensure compliance with quality standards.Ensure suppliers meet material and specification requirements (e.g., resins, additives, tolerances).Support new product introduction (NPI) by validating supplier capability and process readiness.Collaborate with engineering teams on design for manufacturability (DFM) improvements.Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.Required Knowledge and ExperienceRequires a degree and minimum of 6‑8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 4‑6 years of relevant experience.Proven track record in supplier quality management, including audits, performance monitoring, and supplier development.Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and validating supplier process capability.
