As an Advanced Specialist Pharmacist - Oncology/Haematology, you will play a pivotal role in delivering clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards and clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategically lead and manage the provision of pharmaceutical care and clinical pharmacy services.
* Achieve and maintain competence in relevant clinical information systems, including ARIA.
* Develop and review medication policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
* Manage safe and cost-effective entry of new medications onto hospital formularies.
Additionally, you will be responsible for leading stock management initiatives, assisting with expanded access or compassionate use programmes, and contributing to medicines information and advice.
As a leader and role model within UPMC Pharmacy, you will build effective partnerships, propose and manage innovation, and oversee service delivery. You will assist in recruitment, development, mentoring, and motivation of staff, while implementing and maintaining effective induction and training systems.
