What You’ll Lead & Own
Temporary Works & Safety Leadership
Drive the Temporary Works Strategy across pre‑construction and live sites.
Act as the key authority for Temporary Works oversight, coordination, design briefs, and safety engineering.
Develop innovative engineering solutions that shape project outcomes from day one.
Technical Excellence & Design Influence
Partner with Design, H&S, and Technical teams to guide both temporary and permanent works.
Lead crane and lifting planning for high‑density sites.
Manage relationships with structural consultants and influence upcoming project concepts.
Quality, Compliance & Digital Innovation
Conduct engineering audits aligned with ISO 9001.
Support onsite quality improvements, toolbox talks, and subcontractor engagement.
Champion the adoption of digital engineering and emerging technologies.
Mentor engineering talent across the business.
Support graduate engineers and help shape early‑career pathways.
Influence engineering resourcing, culture, and high‑performance behaviours across project teams.
Project Delivery & Strategic Input
Hold single‑point engineering responsibility from pre‑construction through handover.
Shape project value‑engineering, financial appraisals, and risk strategies.
Collaborate with Planning, Design, Commercial, and Construction teams to achieve best‑in‑class delivery.
Oversee supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement.
What You Bring
Degree/Master’s in a relevant engineering discipline (Structural preferred).
Chartered or Fellow membership of a recognised professional body.
Strong leadership experience within engineering, ideally at strategic level.
Proven ability in structural calculations, design checks, and engineering governance.
Experience across consultancy, contractor, or design‑led environments.
