High Voltage (HV) Tendering Expert
The role of HV Tendering Engineer is crucial in the construction industry, requiring a unique blend of technical and commercial skills. As an HV Tendering Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, competitive tenders for major projects.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
* Leading tendering activities for Power & Renewables (High Voltage) projects
* Preparing compliant tender documents, including technical and commercial inputs
* Collaborating with engineering, construction, commercial, and support teams
* Managing client interface during tender and post-tender clarifications
* Coordinating electrical and civil engineering interfaces for tenders
* Attending and leading post-tender meetings
* Reviewing tender specifications and ensuring BID deliverables are met
* Liaising with Estimation on commercial proposals
* Ensuring compliance with business procedures and highlighting risks
* Managing tender submissions via various portals
* Identifying process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce risk
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 3 years experience in High Voltage tendering or related roles
* Strong understanding of commercial fundamentals and project bid management
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Proficient IT skills for reports and presentations
* Experience managing multiple, multi-disciplinary tenders simultaneously
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Solution-focused mindset and flexible to travel
