Investment Banking Analyst

The Investment Banking Analyst provides critical analytical and operational support in the execution of complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and corporate restructuring. This role involves conducting in-depth financial and market analysis, developing sophisticated valuation models, and preparing presentation materials for clients and internal stakeholders. The analyst works closely with senior bankers, assisting in all stages of deal execution—from initial research and financial modeling to client meetings and closing documentation.


Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and able to think critically under pressure. A proactive approach, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly are essential. The Investment Banking Analyst will work closely with associates and senior bankers to ensure the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of client solutions while developing a deep understanding of the capital markets and deal-making process.


Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CFA Level I or II are advantageous.
* 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance preferred.
* Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques (DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction), and financial statement analysis.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant financial databases.
* Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
* Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
* High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
* Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
