Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will integrate occupational therapy principles with photobiomodulation approaches to support clients in achieving improved function, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.
This role is ideal for an OT with a passion for innovation, neurodiversity-affirming practice, and trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide child/person-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions in alignment with the clinic's holistic ethos.
* Support individuals including (but not limited to):
* Those who are neurodivergent (e.g., autistic, ADHD, dyspraxic).
* Individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries.
* Clients presenting with retained primitive reflexes.
* Older adults experiencing Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.
* Individuals living with anxiety, PTSD, or trauma histories.
* Collaborate closely with the photobiomodulation therapy team to create integrated, personalised care plans.
* Educate clients and families on therapeutic strategies that promote independence, sensory regulation, functional skills, and wellbeing.
* Maintain detailed, professional records and contribute to continuous service improvement.
* Participate in team meetings, training, and reflective practice to support high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
* BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and eligibility for registration with CORU.
* Experience working within one or more of the following areas is desirable: neurodiversity, paediatrics, brain injury, dementia care, mental health, sensory integration.
* Knowledge of or interest in photobiomodulation therapy (training will be provided).
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and families.
* Commitment to trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and person-centred practice.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €30.00-€35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
Work Location: In person
