What You Can Expect In this role, you will be overseeing the Shannon and Galway manufacturing sites' supply planning, materials planning, subcontracting, and logistics teams and processes.
You will provide both technical and people leadership to ensure tight alignment between supply and demand.
How You'll Create Impact • Provide the manufacturing sites with feasible production plans and ensure execution against those plans • Responsible for the department's budget and its optimization • Actively participate in the company's operational and strategic decisions • Closely collaborate with other planning functions and internal / external stakeholders to ensure supply of materials and semi-finished and finished products, high levels of service, risk mitigation of back order and optimization of inventory levels • Data preparation and presentation in regular planning meetings • Apply Lean Six Sigma and IBP Oliver Wight methodologies to optimize production planning processes • Own KPIs for planning, inventory management, and logistics; develop scenarios, run simulations, and prepare forecasts and KPI reports for planning and control • Initiate and foster continuous improvement initiatives What Makes You Stand Out • Cross-functional team collaboration • Building strong, positive relationships • Strong leadership and communication skills • ensuring high service with minimal inventory • Proactivity, agility and resilience Your Background • MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics (or other related field), or equivalent education • Preferred 5+ years of experience in supply chain, project management, planning, or IT systems - ideally in MedTech • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning, activities, interactions, and interdependencies • Proficiency in industrial processes and logistics flows • Strong IT skills: office software, JDE ERP, and specialized planning software • Comfortable working with figures • Strong analytical and communication skills • Proactive mindset with ability to unite teams and persuade Travel Expectations Position requires on-site presence across both manufacturing sites, Shannon
