Service Manager Company Overview A global leader in HVAC systems is seeking a Service Manager to join their team in Munster.
With a strong presence in Ireland and internationally, they deliver solutions in air conditioning, ventilation, air handling, and heat pump systems.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of a growing service division while working with world-class products and technology.
The Role As Service Manager, you will lead and develop a team of service engineers across Munster.
You will: Manage, schedule, and support a team of 4+ service technicians.
Oversee planning of service and maintenance works across commercial and industrial clients.
Handle hiring, training, and development of engineers, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality standards, and FGAS regulations.
Support commissioning, warranty, and aftersales processes.
Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly.
Balance office, site, and remote work (Macroom HQ one day per week, hybrid flexibility available).
The Person We're keen to hear from candidates with: A background in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical services (FGAS certification beneficial).
Experience with mechanical systems such as AHUs, chillers, ventilation, or heat pumps.
Previous service management or team leadership experience (min. 18 months ideal, but flexible for strong engineers ready to step up).
Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Based within a commutable distance of Cork, though applicants from Limerick, Waterford, Tipperary, or wider Munster will also be considered.
