At AllPets Veterinary Hospital, we're looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our busy, friendly hospital team in Drogheda.
This is a permanent role, but if a fixed-term contract better suits your circumstances, we'd be happy to discuss a 12-month FTC option.
This is a brilliant opportunity for both newly qualified nurses and those with some experience under their belt.
We have the right support in place to help you grow in confidence and develop your skills, alongside opportunities for progression and fully funded postgraduate studies if you'd like to pursue them.
What the role looks like
You'll be part of a well-established nursing team, working across consultations, surgical and theatre nursing, inpatient care, pharmacy and laboratory work, and client support.
In short, you'll have the chance to use the full range of your nursing skills every day.
The rota is full-time (37.5hrs over 5 days) with weekends on a 1 in 6 basis, but no overnight work.
Who we're looking for
You'll need to registered (or eligible to register in 2025) with the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
Experience in small animal practice is a bonus, but not essential – we welcome new graduates and can provide tailored support, including a clinical coach.
What matters most is your enthusiasm, your willingness to learn, and your commitment to providing great patient care as part of a team.
