We are partnering with a leading PLC to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant on a 12-month contract basis. This role offers excellent exposure across the business, including close collaboration with senior leadership and key stakeholders.The RoleManage a portfolio of group entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end close activitiesOversee revenue recognition for relevant contracts in line with accounting standardsCollaborate closely with the reporting team to support the group's deliverablesPrepare statutory financial statements for assigned entitiesAct as a key point of contact for internal and external auditorsContribute to the preparation of the PLC’s annual reportSupport annual and quarterly budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processesPartner with operational departments to provide insightful financial analysis (e.g. margins, cost control, overheads)Work cross-functionally to support the delivery of broader financial objectivesReview and enhance existing reporting processes and controlsContribute to ad hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouACA or ACCA qualifiedStrong experience in management accounting and financial reportingProactive mindset with the ability to drive performance and improvementsComfortable using, or willing to learn, new technologies, including AI toolsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholdersWhy Apply?Opportunity to work within a high-profile PLC environmentExposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-makingCompetitive package: €80,000–€85,000 salary, plus 10% bonus, pension, and healthcare
