Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our expanding team based in Cork. As part of a highly respected Irish engineering consultancy with strong ties to the local community, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects including commercial developments, residential schemes, educational facilities and healthcare projects.
In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural designs using standard design software such as Tekla and STAAD. You will collaborate with architects, contractors and other design disciplines to achieve coordinated project delivery. Your duties will also include preparing and reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation; attending site visits inspections; ensuring all work complies with Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes; providing technical guidance to junior engineers; monitoring quality control processes;
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Civil Engineering

* A minimum of 3 years experience working as a Structural Engineer within civil construction sites

* Possess excellent analytical skills along with proficient knowledge about BIM techniques (Revit) ; sustainable urban planning methods MS Excel
