proactive and skilled IT Technician Support Specialist

What You'll Do:
* Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, and network issues via email, chat, and remote tools
* Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and applications
* Troubleshoot IT problems and provide effective solutions for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory or similar systems
* Maintain accurate records of support requests, incidents, and resolutions in ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira)
* Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes and user training
* Monitor system performance, perform regular maintenance, and apply updates or patches
* Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement improvements and ensure compliance with policies
What We're Looking For:
* 2+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support roles
* Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
* Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routers, firewalls)
* Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified are a plus
* Team-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused mindset
