The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive profitable growth across Ireland.
You will win new customers, develop strategic relationships with existing accounts, and help manufacturers improve compliance, traceability and throughput.
Key Responsibilities
Own and deliver sales targets for your territory, building a robust pipeline and converting opportunities to revenue.Identify and win new business across relevant sectors by prospecting, networking, and managing the full sales cycle.Develop strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring retention and growth through account plans and regular reviews.Understand customer needs and propose appropriate packaging solutions (materials, formats, stocking strategies and service models).Prepare quotations and proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure smooth handover to internal teams for onboarding and delivery.Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reporting.Monitor market trends and competitor activity and share insights to support pricing, product and service development.Represent M Pack professionally at customer sites and industry events.
What We’re Looking For
Proven track record in B2B field sales (area/territory management), ideally within packaging machinery or related automation. Experience in coding & marking solutions is highly desirable.Strong new-business development skills with the ability to open doors and build long-term customer relationships.Commercial awareness, confident negotiation skills, and the ability to manage margin as well as volume.Self-starter mindset with excellent time management and the discipline to plan and prioritise a large geographic territory.Comfortable using CRM systems and standard Microsoft Office tools to manage pipeline and reporting.Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across Ireland.Experience selling coding & marking technologies (e.g., CIJ, TIJ, laser, TTO, labelling/print & apply) and/or end-of-line automation (case erect/seal, pallet stretch-wrap, strapping, checkweighing, inspection).Experience managing multi-site manufacturing accounts, project-led sales cycles, and/or tendered/contract business.

Working Pattern & Travel
