We have
full-time and part-time
opportunities within our teams in the following locations:
Leopardstown, Dublin
Wicklow Town, Co.
Wicklow
Note: Offers will initially be expressed to candidates who have selected their preference area in which the vacancy arises, in order of merit.

Contract Type:
Permanent Post.
Contract Hours:
35 hours per week.
Successful candidates who have not yet received their CORU registration will commence initially as a Therapy Assistant on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract.
Salary Scale:
€41,553 – €60,730 pro rata per annum.
Salary scales are subject to Long Service Increments (LSI).
This pay scale is subject to increases in **** in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
Annual Leave Entitlement
: 32 days per annum.
Overview of the Post
Enable Ireland delivers children's services through the Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNT) under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model for children and young people with complex needs arising from a disability.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a range of Speech & Language Therapy services for young people (0 – 18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework.
Service will include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service development.
This will be delivered through a family centred approach across a variety of settings including the clinic, preschools, schools, children's homes and community settings.

The successful candidate will have
Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
Eligible to work in the State.
Note: candidates applying for posts in Wicklow and Kilkenny must have a current, valid driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
Annual registration
On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU
Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
Additional requirements include postgraduate work experience as a Speech & Language Therapist, experience of interdisciplinary team working, experience working with children with disabilities and their families, relevant postgraduate training (e.g. Hanen, Lamh, PECS, ADOS, AT training), experience in Assistive Technology, public sector health service experience, and CDNT placement experience.
Relevant voluntary experience working with children or people with disabilities.
