Join the contracting department to work on a number of major municipal and industrial design-build projects. Reporting to the Design-Build Manager, the position will be based in Citywest, Dublin, with the requirement to visit client sites around Ireland.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of project deliverables and contractual requirements.
* Report to and communicate with the Project Manager throughout project execution and take ownership of delegated tasks and duties.
* Engage with our design and drawing departments in the preparation and submission of design submissions to the client.
* Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to meet project procurement requirements.
* Support the Project Manager in managing and monitoring project delivery within budget and schedule.
* Anticipate and manage project risks and opportunities.
* Manage site activities carried out by the client and subcontractors, including planning, installation, commissioning, performance validation, and handover to the client, as well as coordination with other contractors.
* Ensure all design, construction, and installation activities comply with company safety, health, environmental, and quality policies, supporting our Never Harm Culture and Engagement Programme.
* Lead health and safety management on site, including daily management, coordination, reporting, and liaising with the SHESQ Manager.
* Maintain knowledge of company policies and participate in external audits for ISO accreditation.

Requirements
* B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent third-level qualification.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management of multi-disciplinary MEICA teams, preferably in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
* Practical experience managing teams on construction sites and understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to motivate, delegate, and monitor team activities.
* Self-initiative, prioritization, and effective workload planning skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Independent worker and team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
