**Commercial Feed Specialist Position**
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Feed Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our commercial sales team to support the growth of our feed business.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Agricultural Science and 3-5 years of experience in the field. They will be responsible for coordinating a nutrition support service with the commercial team, conducting farm visits, and developing nutrition guidelines.
The Commercial Feed Specialist will also be responsible for attending trade shows, promoting our feed range, and up-skilling the sales team to overcome objections on farm. They will work closely with key stakeholders to cascade information up and down the chain.
This is a field-based role with a requirement to work from our manufacturing facility in Farranfore for circa 1 day per week. Travel within the region will be required on a regular basis, with some additional travel required to match business needs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating a nutrition support service with the commercial team on a weekly basis
* Dedicated structured farm visits accompanying a member of the commercial team
* Developing nutrition guidelines and offering training on a regular basis to store staff on the feed range
* Liaising with the team at the mill and external service providers on the development of potential new feeds/feed related products
* Taking ownership of this process as part of the role
Qualifications and skills required include a degree in Agricultural Science and 3-5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
