Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will involve working closely with other departments to support overall business objectives.
Duties
* Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
* Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
* Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to provide necessary documentation.
* Respond to inquiries regarding financial transactions and provide support to team members as needed.
Skills
* Accuracy and Attention to Detail Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
