Job Description
Rockwell Constructions Ltd. t/a Rockwell Engineering requires multiple Sheet Metal Workers for their premises at Clogheen Business Park, Blarney Rd, Cork, T23 R960. The salary range starts from €36,605 (18.05/hr) to €54,000 (26.63/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities Key responsibilities include installation of External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems, rendering of external walls, plastering of window and door reveals, skimming and finishing internal walls and ceilings, assisting with the collection and delivery of materials, contributing to general building works, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Installation of ductwork and in‑line equipment, volume control dampers, fire dampers and reheat access coils.
Requirements Work with sheet steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Be proficient in the cutting of these metals by using patterns or templates as guides, as well as shaping the metal by forming, bending, beating or rolling by means of manual and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery. Reading and interpreting drawings and follow information provided on drawings to ensure installation completed to correct set out and details provided. Observes and complies with all safety, quality and project rules and all company policies and procedures & inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions. Plans sequence on installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workers. Installation of ductwork and in‑line equipment, volume control dampers, fire dampers and reheat access coils. Trade Qualified Experience working on large scale projects in Europe or Middle East. Experience operating Machinery is an advantage. Proficient level of English required. Previous work experience in Sheet Metal Work.
