Key Responsibilities:
Lifecycle Management: Enhance the entire service lifecycle, from inception and design to deployment and refinement.
Service Reliability: Ensure services are fault-tolerant, efficiently scalable, and cost-effective.
System Monitoring: Maintain live services by measuring availability, latency and overall health. Implement sustainable incident response practises and conduct blameless postmortems.
Big Data Design: Design and implement robust, scalable big data systems that support core products and business operations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience with data structures, complexity analysis, and software design.
* Familiarity with technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Kafka, ClickHouse, and Hive.
* Knowledge of various strategies for data ingestion, modelling, processing, and ETL design.
* Experience with production-grade services and cloud-native technologies.
* Strong coding and scripting skills, with a focus on reducing manual interactions through tools and APIs.
* Expertise in designing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
