What Were Looking For: 3+ years experience in a payroll role, preferably within a practice or bureau environment Experience processing high-volume, multi-client payrolls Up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC regulations, and statutory deductions Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and deadlines (HMRC submissions, RTI, pensions auto-enrolment, etc.) Handle client queries professionally and efficiently Process statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP, and handle year-end procedures (P60s, P11 Ds) Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records in line with GDPR For further information on this opportunity or to explore the next step in your finance career, get in touch with Garry Thomson at Hire IQ in complete confidence.
