Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Assistant Financial Controller with financial reporting and forecasting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. This role involves contributing to the preparation of management reports for senior leadership, analyzing monthly results, investigating variances, performing liquidity, treasury, and working capital analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The selected individual will also take ownership of the expense reporting process, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Additionally, they will assist with external audit preparation and statutory financial statements, support compliance with tax and statutory obligations, act as a finance business partner across departments, collaborate on ad hoc projects and day-to-day operations, provide support to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions, build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and suppliers, complete bank reconciliations promptly and accurately, carry out general ledger account reconciliations, process journals to ensure accurate month-end accounts, and assist with external financial filings and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess a fully qualified ACCA or ACA qualification, a degree in Finance/Accounting or related field, and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
