Kitchen AssistantWe are looking for a Kitchen assistant to help the chefs with the day to day activities in a busy production kitchen .The role is a school term time, allowing staff to enjoy break's during Easter, Summer, Halloween, Christmas etc. This position is ideal for parents/guardians of school going children and those who appreciate longer breaks.Hours Monday to Friday 6am to 2pmJob Spec :Assistant Chef with prepping of mealsLoading ovens as per instruction from Chef'sAssist Chefs with packaging finished product.Ability to follow instructions and recipes accuratelyGood time management and ability to work under pressureWillingness to learn and take directionClean food preparation areas and equipment.Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.A fast learner with an interest in kitchen workThe ability to stand for long hoursWillingness to adhere to health and safety rulesGood organizational skillsThe ability to work unsupervised in a busy environmentPatience and cool-headednessPrevious experience working as a kitchen with food a definite advantageJob Type: Full-timePay: €15.00 per hourBenefits:Store discountExperience:Working in a busy kitchen environment: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
