Occupational Therapist Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a CORU Registered Occupational Therapist to join our team in a dynamic acute hospital setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be working with patients aged 65 years and above across general and medical wards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough OT assessments and implement individualised treatment plans.
* Lead on functional rehabilitation, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning.
* Deliver high-quality care across a range of clinical areas including medical, surgical, stroke, and frailty.
* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, care planning, and patient education.
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audit, and service development.
Requirements:
* CORU Registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in an acute or rehabilitation setting.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical reasoning skills.
* Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.
